Mitchelle joined our home in 2019 after I, Duncan, stepped in to rescue her from bad company. We had been living in the same plot but were forced to leave due to unpaid rent. With only her father and two brothers, her dad lost hope in affording her education and considered sending her upcountry. Mitchelle was determined to stay in school though. I used my savings to get her through high school, and she has worked hard ever since. Now, she dreams of studying business management in university. However, the cost of college is overwhelming, and providing for her tuition has been incredibly challenging. Erick has been part of our home for a long time—he joined us in 2008 when he was just four years old. After losing his mom and never knowing his dad, he was raised by his aunt, who eventually asked for our help. Once Erick came to live with us, she left and never returned. Sadly, she later passed away.
Erick has grown up with us and is truly part of the family. He has a big heart for God and loves sharing his faith. Now, as a young man, he’s hoping to join university to study Business Management.

Rence became part of our home in 2013. She lived with her single mother in Kayole, where they often struggled to meet basic needs, sometimes going without food. After completing primary school, the hope of joining high school faded due to financial difficulties. We took her in to support her education, and she has since proven to be one of the brightest students in our home. Rence received initial funding to start university, but she now needs a stable donor to continue her studies.

After he completed primary school, she lost hope of sending him to secondary school due to financial constraints. With the support of Voice of Hope Children’s Center, Reagan was able to secure funding for his secondary education. He has since graduated from high school and joined university this year.
